Bluehawk Industrial Coatings

Have an epoxy flooring-related question? Bluehawk Industrial Coatings has the answer. Check out these FAQs and give us a call today for more information!

  • How should I prepare my floor for epoxy coating?

Prior to the epoxy application, non-porous surfaces should be sanded and thoroughly abraded. 80-grit aluminum oxide paper will provide a good texture for the epoxy to “key” into. Be sure the surface to be bonded is solid. Remove any flaking, chalking, blistering, or old coating before sanding. Bluehawk Industrial Coatings will help with the preparation prior to installation and with the clean-up process.

  • What services and products does Bluehawk Industrial Coatings offer?

  • Why choose epoxy flooring over other types of flooring?
